Description

A dense catalog of reptiles and amphibians fills this hand-colored engraving, arranged in three horizontal registers from snakes and lizards at top to crocodilians in the middle and turtles below. Ochre, sage green, and cream tones dominate the naturalistic palette, rendered with fine cross-hatching and delicate linework characteristic of 19th-century scientific illustration. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

Care

  • Remove the pillow cover using the concealed zipper
  • Wash the cover separately in cold water with gentle detergent
  • Tumble dry on low heat or air dry or lay flat to dry
  • Do not wash the faux down insert; spot clean if necessary.
